SUMI Ink- Dyed Jacquard Corset


The outer corset is made from glossy jacquard fabric.


Dyeing and wrinkle finishing are done individually after each piece is fully sewn, taking time and care. Each item is hand-dyed with uneven effects, giving the fabric a unique surface appearance. Before dyeing, a mordant is applied for better color absorption, and after dyeing, the color is properly fixed. Please note that the final color may vary slightly from piece to piece, allowing you to enjoy the one-of-a-kind character of each item.


Wrinkles are created by hand and steam before drying, a delicate process that ensures a refined finish.


The inner fabric is soft mesh, making it wearable directly on the skin. The corset can also be adjusted over a long skirt to be styled as a dress.

NOTICE
All parts are unevenly dyed with sumi (ink) dye. While the color has been properly fixed, repeated washing may cause some fading.


HOW TO ENJOY


* To enjoy color fading and aging effects, wash frequently.
* To maintain the original color, reduce the number of washes.
* Sumi-dyed items may leave slight ink residue on the skin.
